Qualche consiglio
Sophie Chastel, operatrice del metodo AIT ed autrice di questo sito suggerisce che :
I risultati dei tests e lo svolgimento delle sedute devono essere chiaramente spiegati affinchè i bambini possano capire quello che ci si aspetta da loro, e dunque essere tranquilli.
I bambini autistici generalmente non sopportano le cuffie, spesso a causa di ipersensibilità tattile in testa. Verrà spiegato ai genitori cosa fare durante il mese precedente alle sedute per abbassare la sensibilità, e questo darà la possibilità di effettuare delle sedute tranquille.
E preferibile che i genitori assistano alle sedute, almeno all’inizio, per fare sì che il figlio si senta sicuro
La persona deve sapere che potrebbe provare stanchezza e nervosismo passageri durante i dieici giorni del ciclo AIT .
E’ sconsigliato leggere o dormire durante le sedute.
Si consiglia invece di dormire bene, con eventuali sieste, durante i dieci giorni.
Se i consigli degli operatori vengono seguiti bene, le sedute avranno un buon svolgimento anche con bambini ipersensibili, ansiosi o iperattivi.
